Dakota Family Services is offering age-appropriate therapy groups to help your child learn how to calm their fears and manage the stress of daily life. 

The Real Stuff: Keeping Calm During Chaos

Is your child struggling with a schedule and feeling like everything is too chaotic? This group will focus on discussing ideas and sharing experiences to help your child feel less alone.

4-5 p.m.

Tuesday's: 9th - 12th graders

Wednesday's: 3rd - 5th graders

Thursday's: 6th - 8th graders


Coping is Cool: Managing Daily Stressors

Is your child emotionally dysregulated and/or exhibiting increased negative behaviors because they don't have access to the things that help them cope--like friends and sports? This group will help them build new skills to manage their stress.

11 a.m. - noon

Tuesday's: 3rd - 5th graders

Wednesday's: 6th - 8th graders

Thursday's: 9th - 12th graders

Ally Rust, LPCC

Ally Rust, Licensed Counselor at Dakota Family Services, will facilitate the therapy groups. She provides outpatient therapy for children, adolescents and young adults. Ally believes relationship and connection are the sources of healing and growth and she brings those into the therapy she provides. She earned her Master of Education in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from North Dakota State University.
