Frequently Asked Questions
How much does therapy cost?
- Depends on the type of service you need and what your insurance will cover. We are in-network providers with several insurers, but all coverage depends on your specific insurance plan. Call for more information.
How do I know if I need to see a counselor?
- A counselor can help you feel better. If you are feeling down, overwhelmed, irritable, angry, or sad, you may benefit from seeing a counselor. Â
Can I make a counseling appointment for someone else?
- It depends. You can make an appointment for your child. But, when it’s an adult friend or family member, they have to make the call. You can get information, but can’t make an appointment for another adult. We encourage you to find the phone number and support them as they make the call.
How do I support a friend who struggles with mental illness?
- The most important thing you can do as a friend is to listen. Then, encourage them to get professional help when they are struggling.
