The Blue Cross Blue Shield ND Caring Foundation granted $20,000 to Dakota Family Services to support its free Community Chats.
Community Chats, hosted by providers at Dakota Family Services, increase community awareness of various mental health topics, answer questions from parents and caregivers, and decrease the stigma and misconceptions surrounding mental illness and its treatment. Each Community Chat is facilitated by members of the clinical team at Dakota Family Services who provide their expertise to attendees through education, discussion, and Q&A sessions.
