Stacy Askvig, Minot, ND, joined the Dakota Family Services Board of Directors at its November meeting. Askvig, a retired clinical laboratory scientist and laboratory director, is passionate about mental health and helping children who have not received proper mental health services.
Askvig said, “I accepted the board position with Dakota Family Services to help promote and maintain quality mental health services for all people.”
Askvig is a member of Rotary and the Hogan Heritage Society Board of Regents. She also recently designed and created “Heaven’s Steps,” a 15.5-foot-high stained glass for the Ranch’s newly constructed Hope Chapel on its Bismarck campus. In her spare time, Askvig enjoys gardening, baking, traveling, creating stained glass, spending time with her grandchildren, and serving as a Volunteer Assistant Coach for Minot State University Women’s Wrestling.
