Dakota Family Services works closely with patients, their families, insurance companies, employee assistance programs, and managed care providers to determine all possible payment options. We are an in-network provider for most major insurance companies and managed care plans. Please call your insurance company for specific mental health plan details regarding coverage, deductible and coinsurance. Call 1-800-201-6495 for answers to your billing questions.

Dakota Family Services is an in-network provider for United Behavioral Health, Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Dakota, Medicare, North Dakota Medicaid, HealthPartners, Sanford, and Tricare. We accept all insurances except out-of-state Medicaid Insurance plans. If your insurance plan is out-of-network or you do not have insurance and will pay out-of-pocket for services, we ask you to pay for services before they occur. If your out-of-network insurance then covers a portion of the bill, we will credit your account for that amount.
Explanation of benefits
When you receive a bill from Dakota Family Services, the bill will reflect any insurance payments that have been made. We don't bill you until we hear back from the insurance company.
